Rueda de Casino Classes
FUN RUEDA DE CASINO MONDAYS in Tampa! Learn Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino in Tampa with Dame Salsa Cubana. Join us every Monday for progressive beginner, intermediate, and advanced Rueda de Casino classes designed to help you build confidence, improve your Cuban dance technique, and have fun dancing with a community of fellow dancers.
Rueda de Casino is a fun, energetic Cuban partner dance performed in a circle. A caller announces different movements while dancers follow the commands, synchronize their steps, and continuously exchange partners.
It's more than a dance class, it's a social experience that combines Cuban music, movement, connection, and community.
Robert Morales and Laura Cristina have been dancing Casino/Rueda de Casino for more than 20 years and teaching for more than 13 years. They regularly travel to Cuba and abroad to continue learning from experienced Cuban dance instructors and bring that knowledge back to their students.
SCHEDULE: MONDAYS
6:30PM - BEGINNERS LEVEL - 5-Week Series

Here is your chance to learn this popular Cuban dance, Rueda de Casino!
You will learn the fundamental figures, and movements, and leading/following techniques within the circle along with the basic patterns of Rueda de Casino to get you started
• This is a progressive class; therefore, no new students/drop-ins after the 2nd week of the series
• Series starts October 5th
7:30PM - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL - 5-Week Series

This class builds on the foundational patterns learned in the Beginners level class.

You will learn the most commonly called intermediate Rueda de Casino and Cuban Salsa patterns and combinations while reviewing lead-and-follow skills you can apply with a dance partner.

Our goal is to help you continue developing proper footwork, technique, and intermediate-level Cuban Salsa/Rueda de Casino patterns.
🔸NOTE: Leads and Follows, In order to participate in this level, you must have completed and passed our beginner level course. (The instructor will test you) OR must be able to execute the following moves confidently without guessing or hesitation. • Vacila (Vacilala) • Exhibela (Sacala) • Sombrero • Adios/Prima con la hermana • Setenta • Balsero
8:30PM - ADVANCED LEVEL - RUEDA DE CASINO Class

You will learn unique Cuban patterns passed down from Cuban instructors.

We reinforce lead–follow skills you can apply when dancing Casino/Cuban Salsa with a partner.

Our goal is to help you continue developing proper footwork, solid technique, and intermediate-to-advanced Cuban Salsa/Rueda de Casino patterns.
